Poetry Footballer of the Year Ian McMillan sparkles in mid-field with his weekly hit radio show The Verb. Ian is Poet-in-Residence for The Academy of Urbanism and Barnsley FC, Humberside Police’s Beat Poet, Yorkshire TV’s Investigative Poet and a regular on Newsnight Review, The Mark Radcliffe Show, The Today Programme, You & Yours, The Culture Show, Never Mind The Full Stops… and Have I Got News For You? His rip-roaring poetry shows are legendary. Cats make him sneeze.

Tony Husband is Cartoonist in Residence at The Lowry. He has been awarded Strip, Gag & Sports Cartoonist of the Year no fewer than ten times by the Cartoon Arts Trust. For his depiction of British life, he won the 2005 Pont Award given in memory of the great thirties’ cartoonist. His new book is The World’s Worst Joke.

His cartoons appear regularly in The Times, Sunday Express, Golf International, The Oldie, Private Eye, The Spectator, Nursing Standard, TES, The Prescriber, Playboy and Punch. He has a weekly strip in his local paper, The Tameside Advertiser. He can also be found in Who’s Who. Ian makes him sneeze.
